- Syracuse does NOT need more TAXES! Many times suggestions have been made to fund new projects and programs at the expense of the citizens. Finding resources should be done by any other means than asking for more from your budget.
- Syracuse needs a City Council that will manage the city budget with as much care and responsibility as their own household.
- Syracuse citizens deserve to be heard. The perspective of every citizen should be heard and considered.
- The greatest resource any community can have is the people. It is important that the city welcome as much opportunity to participate and serve as the citizens will provide.

Syracuse is an attractive destination to live, work, and recreate. I want to responsibly build on this to make it the community we all can enjoy. Bringing in new business means more jobs. It creates a broader tax base for needed infrastructure. It provides resources for our citizen base.

Many officials and candidates alike have made promises that we neither have the resource to provide, nor do they have the authority or responsibility to offer. It is time Syracuse completed past commitments AND find the means to support new projects before committing to them. I am commited to making sure the means to copletion is in sight before binding the city to future projects. I am committed to being the advocate for those important projects unitl we find the resources for them, without creating new debt or raising your taxes.
Development has been hindered the last few years by large debts created by past City Councils. Many projects the city could enjoy are forced to wait while we pay down past commitments. I want to see our city flurish; responsibly. We must make sure we know how we will pay for our commitments.

Elected officials and City employees serve the city, not the other way around. Together people are the most valuable assets our city has. Working together to provide for the citizens must always be the focus of all who work in a service position. I will continue to build this team with a focus on the benefit provided; whether that be safety, service, opportunity, or entertainment.
